a) Navigation Data

The IT systems and software procedures used for the operation of this Website involve the acquisition of personal data whose transmission is implied by the use of internet communication protocols.

These data are not collected in order to be associated with any identified data subjects, but, by their very nature, might be used to identify Visitors through specific processing operations and associations with other data held by third parties.

This data category includes IP addresses or domain names of computers used by Visitors connecting to the Website, addresses of queried resources in URI (Uniform Resource Identifier) syntax, query times, modes of query submission to a server, response file sizes, a numeric code showing server response status (success, error, etc.) and other parameters relating to the Visitor’s operating system and IT environment.

These data are only used to generate anonymous statistical information on the Website use and control its correct operation. Data will be deleted immediately after processing and could be used to assess liabilities in the event of possible cybercrimes committed against the Website. Outside these uses, our current policy prevents the storage of data on web contacts for more than seven days.

As a result, no Visitors’ personal data will remain stored in the Website.

The Website uses the following cookies:

(i) session cookies (required for using the Website service and accessing its reserved areas): the Website uses session cookies (http) to manage authentication to online services and reserved areas. Session cookies are not stored permanently on the Visitor’s computer and are deleted when a browser is exited. Their use is strictly limited to the transmission of session identifiers (random server-generated numbers) needed to make Website navigation secure and efficient. Session cookies used in this Website prevent the use of processing technologies not ensuring the confidentiality of Visitors’ navigation and do not store Visitors’ personal identification data.

If these cookies are disabled, Website services cannot be used.

Visitors may deny their consent to the use of these cookies by flagging or unflagging the relevant option in the “settings” section of their web browser; non-authenticated Website navigation may in any case be possible with all enabled functions. Depending on the applicable terms of service (please check the latest version from time to time available on https://www.google.com/analytics/terms/us.html), Google will use this information as autonomous data controller, in order to keep track and analyse the Website use, compile reports on the Website activities - to be used by its operators - and provide other services related to, e.g., the Website activity, any hardware or media used to connect to the Website (mobile phones, PCs, browser, etc.) and various modes for accessing the Website pages. Google will transfer this information to third parties, when required to do so by law, or when such third parties are authorised to process the aforesaid information on Google’s behalf. Google will not associate any IP addresses with other data held by Google. Alternatively, only Google Analytics cookies can be disabled by using an opt-out add-on made available by Google for major browsers (https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=en). In this way, using the Website online services that require authentication will still be possible.
